Are the Events of Tales of the Jedi Canon?

While no definite answer has been given, it’s safe to say that Tales of the Jedi is canon. The animated series closely follows the story of two Jedi from the prequel era of Star Wars as they head in opposing directions during their journey through the Force and the events that made them who they are in the series. Tales of the Jedi consists of six episodes broken into “two paths”; the first path follows the story of Anakin Skywalker’s apprentice, Ahsoka Tano, throughout various points in her life and training. The second follows Count Dooku of Serenno and depicts his journey before he falls into the dark side of the Force in search of peace. As mentioned, the reveal of the series stirred up hype as it would see a return of the glorious animation style from Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Dave Filoni would be attached to this project.
